Core Zone
  • Youngcheonri (comprising Youngcheon Village and Yangdong Village) is located in the Hoecheonmyeon District of Boseong, stretching from Botjae to Deungnyangman Bay.
  • Over time, with the optimum soil and climate conditions, both slopes and flat land have been cultivated as tea fields.
Buffer Zone

The remainder of the Hoecheonmyeon area and some tea fields in Bongsanri of Boseong represent the historical character of Boseong tea fields.

Management Zone

Overall, the slope tea fields and flat-land tea fields in the Boseong region that are currently under active cultivation comprise some 755 hectares.
