  • Content: Supplies eco-friendly organic fertilizer

• Boseong Tea International Organic Certification

  • Managing tea fields and processing equipment with international organic certification
  • Object: USDA, EU, JAS
  • Certification agency: Control Union, DCOK, Geonguk EcoCert, BSC Korea, etc.
  • Criteria: Location and environment, suitability of agro-materials to standards, procedures in tea processing and quality control, equipment management, farming journal, etc.

• Warden for Boseong Tea Safety

  • Regular inspections of assigned area
  • Sample collection for safety inspection and residue composition analysis of Boseong tea

• Boseong Tea Quality Certification by Mayor

  • Object: first harvest tea, second harvest tea (ujeon, gokwu, sejak)
  • Criteria: A score above 85 (appearance: 20%, color of tea water: 15%, taste: 30%, fragrance: 25%, brewed leaf: 10%)

    ‧ Wild Tea Field Area: Hwabangri in Miryeokmyeon, Illimsa Temple site in Hoejeongri, Hoecheonmyeon
    ‧ Rented tea-fields: 6 farming households in Youngcheonri in Hoecheonmyeon
  • Task: Tea field soil preparation and elimination of arrowroot vines (2-3 times/year)

  • Object: Development of new teas and tea products
  • Content: Expenses for product design, packing, launching cost

• Setting Ground Tea Fields for Overseas Trade

  • Recipient: Resident tea farmer or company
  • Object: Possible area of mechanization and formation of a collective tea-field complex
  • Content: Infrastructure of production and cultivation management for over 0.5 hectares level tea fielda
  • Supply: seedlings, composts, rice plants, sprinklers, irrigation facilities, etc.
